Sograpiness in the Desert
Two days in Desert Dream with (Arsenal fan and all round top man) Stephen Brauer, CEO of Sogrape USA, and his leadership team – April, Andy, Joseph, Jacob, Matt and Lopo.
Globally the wine market is in decline as consumption is being squeezed by reduced alcoholic intakes, growing cannabis usage, and ready to drink cocktails etc etc. Stephen and his team have decided “not to participate in this doom and gloom”, but to Play to Win by giving consumers – not what they think they want, but what they never dreamed possible. Like a sparkling, white, non-alcoholic wine from a sparkling Kylie Minogue, that actually tastes great (and has an incredibly low calorie count) and like an accessible, hot, fast growing Portuguese Red developed specifically for US consumers and tastes – Silk and Spice – celebrating Portugal’s explorer history.
Two days spent establishing a Great Team (four veterans and three relative newbies) and committing to leading with courage, playing in position and delighting distributors, retailers and consumers with fast moving, great tasting wines – several of which are Lovemarks in the making.
The word ‘decline’ has been banned! It’s all about spreading Sograpiness and Sociability.
The team are all ready to ‘Take the Shot!’.
