We’re in Paris – one of the world’s most magical cities.  Two of our favourite bistros that are worth a look on your next visit:

• La Fontaine De Mars – the fantasy of an eternal Paris – under Christiane Boudon’s brilliant leadership.  Authentic, traditional, 30 years old, in a small square refreshed by the Fountain.  Great people-watching and delicious south-west French cuisine.
• It’s sister bistro – L’Alma, is also worth a visit (we went twice!).  Located by the Seine, close to Avenue George V and the Eiffel Tower – a blend of the classic and the modern – beautifully designed, outstanding escargots.
