A World of Endless Possibilities
Last week I was in London working with Sky Studios and also with a dynamic Coaching start-up, Quench.AI. I was fortunate enough to stay with Managing Director Philippe Lebouef and Joanna Swiecka’s Guest Experience team at the hottest hotel in London – Raffles London at The OWO. A few days full of magic moments, orchestrated by Raffles Butlers (“The Butler did it”!!!).
From a Peloton in my room, the five books I authored and published all in my own library, matching personalised Man City pyjamas for Trudy and I, a personalised bookmark engraved with six reminders from a recent KR Connect, a trolley of beef sliders, popcorn chicken and meatballs to nibble on while I watched the City-Inter bore-draw, and several other personalised, imaginative and thoughtful touches. Inspirational and uplifting to say the least. And all this topped off with Raffles OWO being ranked No. 13 in the Top 50 Best Hotels in the World Awards evening right in the middle of my stay. In the year of its opening. An amazing achievement and a tribute to the entire team at Raffles.
A few days before, I was in Singapore, staying in a timeless classic and a long-time favourite of mine. The original Singapore Raffles – under Christian and recent arrival Thomas’ leadership. They were recognised as the sixth Best Hotel in the World. Brilliant! (They’d be number one in my book!)
Raffles is a state of mind.
Give one of their hotels a go. You’ve earned it!
